Teardrop Sgraffito Earrings in Hunter Green / White Lines | Torch Fired Copper Enamel | 925 Sterling Silver Ear Wires | Handmade in Chicago
Handmade item by Diana Park Tochi Design
Length: 2 1/10 Inches; Width: 7/10 Inches
Materials: Copper, Glass
Closure: Ear wire
Style: Mid-century
These lovely earrings are a personal favorite of mine! I cut this pair out of copper sheet with a jeweler's saw, used the sgraffito technique, and torch-fired them to a smooth glossy finish. The teardrop shape is elegant but the bright color and size make them a unique statement piece.
Torch firing results in layers of fused glass with gorgeous depth and unique textures. These earrings are very comfortable and lightweight. They are finished with hypoallergenic niobium ear wires made by hand. Backs of these earrings are a glossy black.
Total length: 2 and 1/10"
Length of teardrop without wire: 1 and 2/5"
Width: 7/10"
See additional photos for size reference
Wire gauge: 20, niobium
Please note: Torch firing can be spontaneous and unpredictable (part of the fun!), resulting in a unique creation with an organic appearance. No two pieces are alike, simply adding to their charm! These lightweight earrings are made of glass enamel, so please be gentle with them.
Photos are taken in natural lighting. Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor. This pair will be sent with rubber ear backs in a small gift box or organza bag.
